All of my classes are held at the Black Walnut Ridge Gallery & Gift Shop. Woodburning tools are very hot, ages 12 - adult. Intro to Pyrography

Introduction to Pyrography (Woodburning)
Pyrography, “painting with fire”, is an old art form that is making a comeback. In this 2.5 hour class, you will be introduced to the art of Pyrography. We will cover safety, materials, preparation, basic techniques, and complete a simple project. Warning wood burners are hot tools. You may bring your own wood burner. The minimum age is 12 years old. All materials for this introductory class are provided. Monthly sessions on the third Saturday and Sunday of each month. No December class.
Fee: $30 per session

Pyrography Painting with Fire
Pyrography, painting with fire, is a growing art medium. It is easy and fun and creates stunning art. In this 6 week class, students will learn safety, materials, preparation, techniques, use of multiple tips, shading, and complete two projects. Warning wood burners are hot tools. You may bring your own wood burner. The minimum age is 12 Y.O. All materials are provided for this class. Meets Thursday afternoons from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
Fees: $15 per week

In Comic and Cartooning you will have fun learning the basics of drawing comics. We will cover Basic drawing, Character development, Story Development, layout and producing a finished project. Publishing, computers etc.
